Central Sports is about three things:

Fun 

We strive for all our sports to be fun for the children, Practice, games, and fellowships are all designed for players to have fun. Statistics show that 75% of kids who quit sports by the age of 14 do so because it is no longer fun. We want the sport to be fun. Our practice and game devotionals are designed to be fun as well. God is the creator of fun and we want learning about Him and His son Jesus to be fun.

Growth

Our goal is that each player grows in the sport. We want them to develop skills, talent, sportsmanship and discipline throughout the season and be a better player from week 1 through week 10. We also want the players and parents to grow in their relationship with Christ throughout the season. If the player or family doesn’t know Jesus we want them to come to know Him by the end of the season. If they already know Him we want that relationship to be deepened during the season.

Respect

Part of the game in each sport is an opponent. We want all players not only to play to win, but to respect the opponent during the game; sportsmanship. Just as Jesus told us to love others (John 15:12), even our enemies (Matthew 5:44)
